Arlinda Dushaj

Arlinda Dushaj, born Lulgjuraj on May 8, 1995, in Cetinje, is a visual communication design specialist. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the “Luigj Gurakuqi” University in Shkodër, graduating in 2016 in the class of Professor Andi Hila with a major in painting and graphics. She continued her education at the Faculty of Visual Arts, specializing in Visual Communication Design at the “Mediteran” University in Podgorica. In 2022, she completed her studies in interior design at Molen Academy in Belgrade.

Dushaj has participated in artistic performances in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts in Shkodër and the “Paolo Grassi” drama school in Milan, as well as the “Contemporary Art theory and practice” workshop led by artist Adrian Paci. During her studies, she participated in collective faculty exhibitions at the Art Gallery in Shkodër. Her work was selected for inclusion in the July 2019 issue of Average Art Magazine in London.

In collaboration with the municipality of Tuzi, Dushaj realized the project “Drawing with Light” (April 2019), where she led a workshop on the theory and practice of photography art. Among her recent projects is the workshop “A Different Perspective,” which aimed to raise youth awareness about violence against women, gender equality, and ways of expressing this issue through visual arts. As part of these activities, she also organized an exhibition of participants’ paintings.

Currently, Dushaj works as an independent consultant for online media and websites in the cabinet of the Ministry of Public Administration in Podgorica. In 2023, she was appointed by the Government of Montenegro to the board of the Royal Theater “Zetski dom” in Cetinje. She is also a co-delegate of the “WAVE” – Women Against Violence Europe board in Vienna.
